A zipper song that names each kiddo's role in repairing the world. The phrase comes from the Aleinu prayer: le-taken olam be-malchut Shaddai, when the world shall be perfected under the reign of the Almighty.
The chorus carries "Tikkun olam, tikkun olam, tikkun oh-la-la-la-lam." The verses leave space for each kiddo's name and their specific contribution: "To fix the world, [name] is gonna [action]." The zipper structure puts the work of repair into kiddos' own hands and words.
